Wildcat Korner was established in March of 2023 by Konawaena Foundation in conjunction with Konawaena High as a place where students can "shop" for needed supplies for free! Donated goods from the community are provided free to students in need, as needed!
Wildcat Korner is located just opposite the Konawaena School Museum uphill from the Gym situated in a portable classroom provided by the school. Anyone wishing to donate to the Wildcat Korner are encouraged to call the KHS office at 808.323.4500, or email us at : [email protected]. Donations may be tax deductible - please contact your tax professional. Please share with family and friends in our community so that we can serve more students in need!

You could find Maverick Kawamoto always working hard for the benefit of Konawaena Students at Wildcat Korner until he finally retired!
Students can come in during designated times during each school day to select items they need.
Items currently available to them for free are backpacks, shoes, prom dresses, blue jeans, blouses/shirts, jackets, toiletries, school supplies, canned and dry packaged foods...even snorkel gear...and so much more.
